HANDLE type
Declaration:
#if ((ST_MAX_HANDLE_COUNT) < 65535UL)
  typedef UINT16 HANDLE;
#else
  typedef UINT32 HANDLE;
#endif
Description:

The HANDLE type has been introduced to store the handles of the system objects. The handle is either 16 or 32-bits positive integer number. Its wide depends on the maximal number of handles, defined by ST_MAX_HANDLE_COUNT constant. When it is less than 65535, the handle size is 16-bit, otherwise 32-bit.
